TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES
Priority of snow removal done by Déneigement MJS Vanderzon Inc. (hereinafter “ the contractor”) will be determined by the city’s snow removal service.
The client authorizes the installation of pickets by the Contractor that serve to outline the boundaries of the Client’s driveway, as well as high-light areas of difficulty. The client is responsible and should advise us immediately of any lost or broken picket. Pickets will be removed and collected by the Contractor as soon as possible following the end of the snow removal season.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any objects left on the driveway.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damage done to the driveway; such as scrapes, scratches, and/or rust marks.
It is the responsibility of the Client to make sure that if any water valve caps are protruding, to contact the City of St-Bruno at 450-645-2960 and have a technician come by to lower the pipe.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damages or inconveniences that may be caused by gravel driveways.
Sloped driveways: The Client is responsible for keeping the driveway free of ice build up by throwing down salt or other type of abrasive before every snowfall. As such, the Contractor will decide to clear the driveway or not depending on the condition of the driveway. The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damage caused by a tractor which may slide due to an icy surface.
It is the Client’s responsibility to remove the car(s) from their driveway as soon as possible, 9:00 a.m. at the latest, so that the Contractor can have full access to the Client’s driveway for proper finishing. If the client fails to do so and as a result, requests a supplementary snow removal, additional charges of $20.00 will apply.
Déneigement MJS Vanderzon Inc. reserves the right to cancel this contract at any given time if payment is not made within the required time frame.
A surcharge of $25.00 will be applied for any cheques returned due to non-sufficient funds.
